UPSC CSE Final Result Declared:

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the much-awaited Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 final results today, April 22. Candidates who participated in this examination can now check their results on the official UPSC website [upsc.gov.in]. This year, Shakti Dubey from Prayagraj has secured the top rank in the CSE examination, followed closely by Harshita Goel in the second position.

1009 Candidates Clear UPSC

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has selected a total of 1,009 candidates for appointments in the 2024 Civil Services Examination. These candidates will be appointed to positions in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and other Central Services (Group A and B). Among the selected candidates are 335 from the general category, 109 from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 318 from Other Backward Classes (OBC), 160 from Scheduled Castes (SC), and 87 from Scheduled Tribes (ST).

45 Candidates from Divyang Category Selected

This year, a total of 45 candidates from the Divyang (PwBD) category have been selected, including 12 under PwBD-1 (vision impaired), 8 under PwBD-2 (hearing impaired), 16 under PwBD-3 (locomotor disability), and 9 under PwBD-5 (other disabilities).

The UPSC Civil Services Examination is considered one of the toughest and most prestigious exams in the country. Each year, millions of candidates participate in this exam, but only a few thousand are selected. This examination is conducted for selection to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), and other Group A and B services.
