In a startling case of murder in Bangalore, the retired DGP of Karnataka, Om Prakash, was found dead in his home. The accused is none other than his wife, Pallavi. After the grim incident, she herself informed the police. Both Pallavi and her daughter, Kriti, have been arrested by the police. Following a complaint from the deceased's son, Kartikesh, the police registered a case under sections 103, 103(1)(3)(5) of the Indian Penal Code. Mother and daughter are being interrogated in custody.

Amidst the investigation, a WhatsApp message from Pallavi has surfaced, making grave accusations against her husband, Om Prakash, within a police officials' group. She urged immediate action against him, alleging he brandished a revolver with threats, keeping her and their daughter hostage in their own home.

In the message, Pallavi wrote, "I am a hostage. Wherever I go, I am under surveillance by Om Prakash's agents. I've been demanding a separation for years, but to no avail. Wherever I go, there is poison in the food and water. Domestic workers are instructed to mix poison. Even food deliveries from Swiggy and Zomato are contaminated. Money can make anything happen. Power corrupts, and with it comes the might of wealth, letting one do anything."

Furthermore, Pallavi accused her husband of being a member of PFI (Popular Front of India). She claims she and her daughter are victims, writing, "If anything happens to us, accidental or otherwise, my husband will be responsible. I must endure this. Silently. It’s excruciatingly painful." Her words reveal the deep discord and unusual dynamics in their marriage.

On April 20, amid an altercation, Pallavi reportedly threw chili powder before fatally stabbing retired DGP Om Prakash. During lunch, as he was dining with two types of fish on his plate, Pallavi attacked him with a knife, leading to his tragic demise. She then called the police to report the incident, who promptly arrived on the scene.

Upon inspection, a lunch plate was found near the dining area where Om Prakash lay in a pool of blood. After the murder, mother and daughter retreated to their room upstairs. When police arrived, Kriti created a commotion, locking herself in her room, refusing to unlock the door until the police forcibly entered. Soon after, their son, Kartikesh, arrived at the house.

According to sources, Om Prakash was killed with two knives, suggesting the involvement of both mother and daughter. Fingerprint analysis is underway on the knives and bottles. After the murder, the body was wrapped in a sheet. Reports indicate a dispute over property between Om Prakash and Pallavi, which had been transferred to a relative, leading to escalating conflicts culminating in fatal violence.
