In Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, SDM (Sadar) Kriti Raj reacted to a surprise hospital inspection. She advised SDM Kriti Raj to tread carefully after highlighting the hospital's deficiencies. Akhilesh Yadav also sarcastically noted that the Health Minister is in a 'sick state' post-disclosure.

SDM Kriti Raj faced grievances about hospital corruption and poor treatment. On March 12, she inspected a government hospital in Didamai, covering her face with a veil to review services anonymously. She registered as a regular patient but discovered several shortcomings during her visit, including expired medications in storage. Her inspection video is becoming viral on social media.

Akhilesh Yadav's Response

Akhilesh Yadav has shared his take on the incident, targeting the state government for its healthcare deficiencies. He shared the SDM's inspection video from his X (formerly Twitter) account, saying, "The brave lady officer, who unveiled the truth by lifting the veil over Uttar Pradesh's healthcare, must now be careful, or the BJP government, embarrassed by these revelations, might just send her abroad under the pretext of further education." He further stated, "After this disclosure, the Health Minister seems unwell. The government's empty promises on healthcare are also nearing their expiry date."

SDM's Statement

SDM Kriti Raj reported that she had received complaints about the community health center in Didamai, particularly the improper treatment of patients requiring anti-rabies injections. People had been waiting in line since 10 AM, but the doctor was absent. Disguised in a veil, she registered and consulted the doctor to witness the reality first-hand. However, she found the doctor's conduct unacceptable. Upon checking the register, many staff members were missing. Some were signed in but not present.

SDM Kriti Raj also found many expired medicines when checking the drug stock. There was a lack of cleanliness, with dirty toilets and bedsheets, and injections were not being administered properly. The hospital was not operating with a public service mindset. She has noted all the shortcomings and sent a report for action.
