An unusual case has surfaced in Faridabad, Haryana, where goods worth several lakhs were stolen. Surprisingly, this wasn't about precious metals or jewelry, but human hair. The police have filed a case following a complaint and have secured CCTV footage showing two culprits in action, stealing the hair.
According to the information, Ranjit Mandal, residing in the Sector 17 police station area of Faridabad, filed the complaint. Originally from Nadia district in West Bengal, Ranjit has been living on rent in Daulatabad village under Faridabad's Sector 16 for some time. He is involved in the business of human hair.

In his complaint, Ranjit mentioned that on January 14, he bought around 150 kg of hair at the rate of 5,000 rupees per kg. These were stored at his home. Within the hair, he also hid his savings of 2.13 lakh rupees. Ranjit claims that thieves broke into his home at night, making off with four bags of hair weighing around 110 kg.
Ranjit remarked that the bags also contained hidden cash of Rs 2.13 lakh, resulting in a total theft of goods and cash worth over 7.5 lakh rupees. After receiving the complaint, Faridabad police PRO Yashpal Singh stated that the search for the thieves had commenced through CCTV footage. A video has surfaced showing two individuals carrying away the bags of hair. A case has been registered on Ranjit Mandal's complaint, and it's anticipated that the culprits will be captured soon.
