Actions aiming at the alleged encroachments by Samajwadi Party's MP Ziaur Rahman Bark in Sambhal, entangled in cases of violence and electricity theft, have commenced. The administration and municipal team's bulldozer razed the steps constructed over drains outside his residence.

Reports indicate that a joint team from the administration and municipality arrived at MP Bark's residence, undertaking demolition of the steps over a drain using a bulldozer.

Electricity Theft Allegations: Bark Fined 19.1 Million Rupees

SP MP Ziaur Rahman Bark from Sambhal faces electricity theft accusations. A penalty of 19.1 million rupees has been imposed. An FIR has been lodged, and his residence's electricity was disconnected.

Electricity Department SDO Santosh Tripathi revealed that the meter reading at Bark's home was zero, prompting a notice. Non-payment within 15 days of the notice will result in an RC issuance by the department.

FIR Against MP's Father, Mamlook

During the electricity department's raid at Bark's residence, a threat was issued to the officials by Bark's father, Mamlook Ur Rahman Bark, expressing intentions to retaliate when in power. This led to an FIR lodged by the employees at Nakhasa Police Station.

MP Implicated in Sambhal Violence Case

Following the November 24 violence during a survey at Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal, SP MP Bark was named in an FIR. The police allege inciting speeches by Bark intensified the unrest, resulting in four deaths and over two dozen injuries, including police personnel. Consequently, cases have been filed against over 2,500 individuals, most unidentified.
