With the Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024 on the horizon, Congress has taken strict action against its rebels. Twenty-two leaders, contesting independently against the party's directives, have been suspended for six years.
In the lead-up to the Maharashtra elections, these rebellious candidates posed a significant challenge to Congress. The suspended leaders have positioned themselves against the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidates in the upcoming elections.
