On the concluding day of his Japan trip, CM Yogi Adityanath embarked on a thrilling journey aboard the high-speed maglev train in Yamanashi. After visiting the Hydrogen Green Energy Plant, experiencing the maglev train gliding at speeds up to 600 km/h was exhilarating for him. The linear maglev train cruises at a speed of 500 km/h, contrasting with Japan's bullet trains that operate at 300 km/h.
The Linear Motor Car races along at 500 km/h. While the current bullet trains in Japan travel at 300 kilometers per hour, the linear maglev train operates using magnetic force, making it feel like it flies at 500 km/h. Today, Aajtak also traveled this exciting train journey with CM Yogi Adityanath.

On the second day of his Japan visit, CM Yogi Adityanath toured the Green Hydrogen Plant in Yamanashi Prefecture. During this time, he learned about techniques for producing hydrogen and electricity from water. On his way to Yamanashi from Tokyo, a monk named Tulsi met with Yogi along with her companions.
Monk Tulsi shared that they are promoting Hindu and Jain religions in Japan. A young child with them even recited a mantra in Sanskrit after touching Yogi Adityanath's feet. This sight delighted Yogi, who then distributed chocolates as 'Prasad' to the Japanese devotees. Upon reaching Yamanashi Prefecture, a warm welcome awaited him from school children holding Indian and Japanese flags. Yogi spent some time with them.

Moreover, local residents in Yamanashi presented Yogi with a special painting. Yamanashi is renowned in Japan for its modern agriculture and technology, housing centers for hydrogen energy, robotics, and high-speed trains, and also boasts the iconic Mount Fuji as a significant attraction.
The maglev train journey was not just exhilarating but also provided insights into future transportation technology. Japan's ultra-modern maglev train operates on magnetic strength, setting it apart from conventional trains. This train levitates above the tracks, virtually eliminating friction, and that's why it can achieve speeds between 500 to 600 kilometers per hour. On the Yamanashi Test Track, the train demonstrated its highest capability, impressing the Chief Minister profoundly.

Currently, Japan's bullet train travels at approximately 300 km per hour, but maglev technology aims to double this speed. The Shinkansen is already a symbol of fast and safe travel globally, and now the maglev aims to take it further. During this period, the Chief Minister also viewed the hydrogen-based green energy plant.

The journey in the maglev train is completely smooth and shock-free. Sitting inside the train, it feels like an airplane flying very close to the ground. Sharing this experience, the Chief Minster described it as a glimpse of future travel.
Second international trip in nine years for CM Yogi
The high-speed maglev train, in which Yogi Adityanath traveled, is notably different from traditional trains. Unlike conventional trains that align with tracks, the maglev utilizes magnetic technology to hover above the track and travel at high speed.
It's worth noting that CM Yogi Adityanath embarked on a tour of Singapore and Japan starting on February 22, marking his second international trip in his nine-year tenure. His previous, limited foreign visit was to Myanmar in 2017. This trip is considered significant as it aims to attract investments to the state and propel modern infrastructure development forward.
