Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath greeted and honored the Kanwar pilgrims by showering them with flowers from a helicopter. CM Yogi conducted an aerial inspection of the Meerut-Muzaffarnagar road and the Chaudhary Charan Singh Kanwar route. He regularly monitored the security arrangements during the Kanwar Yatra. Thousands of devotees in Meerut and Muzaffarnagar witnessed the Chief Minister's flower shower program. On this occasion, the Chief Minister reviewed the security arrangements and instructed the authorities to ensure no disorder on the pilgrimage route.
If any external element or troublemaker tries to take the law into their own hands or disrupts your faith, do not take matters into your own hands. Inform the police. The administration will handle them. We have decided that those who have tried to tarnish the image of the Kanwar Yatra through vandalism have been recorded on CCTV. Their posters will be displayed after the Yatra. We will take strict action.

CM expressed his happiness that the Shiv devotees are displaying societal harmony as they undertake the Kanwar pilgrimage with reverence and dedication. Their devotion is evident in their spiritual practice, and it should be encouraged. The government, NGOs, and various social and religious organizations have made substantial arrangements.

Some mischievous elements are attempting to malign the Kanwar Yatra through social media. We must identify such individuals, and it is our responsibility. CM Yogi called upon all Shiv devotees, emphasizing that Lord Shiva is a deity of universal welfare. It is our duty to undertake this pilgrimage with full faith, appreciating and addressing any other issues that may arise.
