In a breakthrough for the authorities, Tauseef along with five shooters involved in the Chandan Mishra murder case have been arrested from Patna’s Paras Hospital, as confirmed by a police officer. The suspects, including Nishu, were apprehended in Kolkata after extensive overnight raids across various locations. Additionally, the STF captured three more accomplices from Patna and Buxar, bringing the total number of arrests in connection to this murder case to eight.
Earlier, a joint team of the Bihar Police and the West Bengal STF detained five individuals from New Town in relation to this case. According to officials, one suspect found at the guest house had sustained injuries and was taken away in an ambulance.

Officers from Anandpur, Kolkata Leather Complex, and Bhagar stations are conducting search operations within their jurisdictions, suspecting that the criminals might be hiding locally. Meanwhile, police are questioning the five arrested suspects, who were residing in two separate flats of a housing complex in the New Town area. Authorities have confiscated their mobile phones and other crucial documents.

During the operation around 5:40 AM, one person was arrested from a location outside a housing complex. After his interrogation, authorities were able to capture four more individuals from inside two flats.
Chandan Was Murdered in Paras Hospital
The officer speculated that these individuals might have assisted the criminals by providing transportation and hiding locations. The investigation also includes examining their call logs and WhatsApp messages to gather more information.
For context, Chandan Mishra from Buxar district, Bihar, was fatally shot by gunmen in Patna's Paras Hospital on Thursday morning. Chandan was out on parole for a previous murder case.
