The meeting laid a strategic framework to challenge the Modi government. However, the Aam Aadmi Party and Trinamool Congress did not participate.

What Happened in the Meeting?

The meeting was conducted with the slogan 'Save the Nation, Remove BJP'. The focus was largely on the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Leaders expressed that justice is yet to be served in the attack case and criticized the government's intelligence failure in preventing it.

Congress leader Pramod Tiwari briefed the press, emphasizing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi must be present during the monsoon session to respond to the opposition's queries.

Reacting to the Election Commission's SIR actions in Bihar, he commented on the 'undeclared emergency' threatening voting rights, planning a protest at Jantar Mantar against it.
