Chain-snatching incidents in Bihar Sharif, Nalanda, seem to be unrelenting. The recent occurrence happened near the Hanuman Temple at the Dhaneshwar Ghat in the district headquarters. A woman, with a 9-month-old baby in her lap, was walking with her children when a criminal snatched the chain from the baby's neck and fled. This incident has been captured by CCTV footage.

According to the information, the event occurred on Tuesday evening. Anish Verma's mother, residing in this area, had taken her grandchildren to the temple for prayers. As she was returning, a lurking criminal suddenly attacked from behind, snatched the chain from the baby's neck, and escaped. The entire ordeal is clearly visible in the nearby CCTV footage.

The video vividly shows the meticulous planning of the criminal who was already waiting for the right moment. As soon as the woman exited the temple and began to walk on the road with the baby in her lap, the perpetrator executed the crime and quickly fled.
