First Prahar Worship Time-

Begins tonight at 6:25 PM and concludes at 9:28 PM.

Second Prahar Worship Time-

Starts tonight at 9:28 PM, ending at 12:31 AM on March 9.

Third Prahar Worship Time-

Commences at 12:31 AM tomorrow and finishes at 3:34 AM.

Fourth Prahar Worship Time-

Mahashivratri Worship Methodology (Mahashivratri 2024 Worship Method)

Rise before sunrise on Mahashivratri and bathe. Take a vow in presence of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati to observe the fast with full devotion. Then begin the prayers at auspicious timings. Gather materials like roli, vermillion, rice, flowers, sacred thread, clothes, incense, a mix of seven grains, Bael leaves, Akanda flowers, Datura flowers, etc.. Create Panchamrit using cow's ghee, yogurt, milk, and dry fruit. Visit the temple and bathe Lord Shiva with Panchamrit, offer water infused with saffron, and light an uninterrupted flame. Chant Lord Shiva's mantra 'Om Namah Shivaya' 108 times afterward.
