The Pahalgam attack has intensified tensions between India and Pakistan. Meanwhile, Pakistan People's Party leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s statement has sparked outrage. India has firmly objected to Bhutto's remarks, calling him a fool.
In response to Bhutto's statement, Central Minister Hardeep Singh Puri retorted that the Pahalgam incident was a terror attack, and Pakistan will bear the consequences. This is just the beginning, and Pakistan will have to pay a heavy price. Bilawal Bhutto is foolish; he will keep crying if he doesn't get water.
'Pakistan Will Pay the Price'
Puri emphasized that what happened in Pahalgam isn't just an incident but a terrorist attack. There should be no misunderstanding. It’s a cross-border terror attack, and they (Pakistan) will have to take responsibility. I have seen some ministers claiming they've been doing this for 30 years. They will pay for it. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statements are clear – Pakistan will pay the price. This is just the beginning. This attack is condemned globally.
'Leave the Foolish Man Alone'
Referring to Bilawal Bhutto’s comment, Puri said, I have seen it. He claims if we don't give water, he will spill blood. Tell him to leap somewhere by bleeding his own blood. Where will he jump without water? Just ignore the foolish man.
'We Won't Be Intimidated by Threats'
Meanwhile, Central Minister Piyush Goyal asserted, we aren’t intimidated by Pakistan's threats. Apart from spreading terror, Pakistan has no other priority. We condemn Bilawal’s statement. Even the people of Pakistan won't agree with such comments.
Goyal stated, I believe Pakistan is a desperate nation. They have no priority other than spreading terror. It's unfortunate for the world - leaders like these only cause harm.
What Did Bilawal Bhutto Say?
Bilawal Bhutto, son of Pakistan's former Prime Ministers Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari, said Modi and his government have declared they won’t abide by the Indus Water Treaty. Standing beside the Indus River, I tell India, Indus is ours and will remain ours. Either our water will flow or their blood will flow from this river. It can't happen that one day you decide not to honor the treaty. The people of Pakistan won’t accept this.
In actuality, 26 tourists died, and 17 were injured in the Pahalgam terror attack. Terrorists meticulously targeted tourists before fleeing into the forest. The Resistance Front, linked to Pakistan-based banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility, forcing India to take strong measures against Pakistan.
Suspension of the Indus Water Treaty
India has suspended the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan, effective immediately, until Pakistan stops supporting cross-border terrorism.
Wagah-Attari Border Closure

Decision on Diplomatic Ties
India declared defense, naval, and air advisors in Islamabad's High Commission 'persona non grata', ordering them to leave within a week. Similarly, we've recalled military advisors from our High Commission in Islamabad.
