Bihar's capital Patna hosted the grand 'Mega Employment Fair 2025' by the Indian Youth Congress, attracting thousands of young participants from the region. More than 190 renowned private companies such as Tata Alliance, Flipkart, Tech Mahindra, Paytm, Voltas, Hitachi, Urban Clap, and others took part in this fair.
Throughout the event, 48,000 youths registered, more than 20,000 were interviewed, and approximately 7,000 received job letters at the spot. Moreover, several candidates were shortlisted for further rounds.

'We are creating employment opportunities for youth...'
At the event, Uday Bhanu Chhib, the National President of the Youth Congress shared, "This is not just an employment fair but a strong campaign fueled by Rahul Gandhi's vision. Even in opposition, we are fostering job opportunities for Bihar's youth, something the double-engine government could not achieve.”
Criticizing the BJP-JDU government, he said, "Despite 20 years in power and 11 years at the center, they did nothing for Bihar's unemployed. Today, as the government has failed, Youth Congress emerges as a beacon of hope.”
The event was attended by Congress MP Akhilesh Prasad Singh, NSUI in-charge Kanhaiya Kumar, Lok Sabha MP Pappu Yadav, Congress MLA Pratima Das, former MLA Amit Kumar Tunna, and several senior leaders.

Bihar Youth Congress President Gareeb Das termed it a new beginning, saying, “This crowd seeks not just jobs but sends a clear message that Bihar's youth now believes in opportunities, not just promises. We provided them with real opportunities.”
The success of the job fair was hailed as a victory for the youth by Congress leaders who called for change in the upcoming elections. Present at the program were Bihar Youth Congress in-charge Md Shahid, National Secretary Hari Krishna, Rohit Kumar, Shesh Narayan Ojha, Puneet Pariya, among hundreds of workers. The event instilled the belief that political will can bring change from opposition.
