In the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, a major operation to remove encroachments in Subhash Nagar Market commenced this Sunday morning. A bridge is being constructed, necessitating the removal of 110 shops. Shopkeepers were given until Saturday to vacate the premises. Once the deadline passed, the authorities mobilized a bulldozer amidst tight security on Sunday morning.
A significant police presence was deployed during the operation, with around 1,000 policemen, 8 Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), and multiple local administrative teams on site.

The administration cordoned off approximately a 1-kilometer radius with barricades to prevent anyone from approaching the operation site. Throughout this process, the media was prohibited from covering the event. Police kept media personnel at a distance from the scene.
