Balochistan Tragedy: BLA's Fatal Strike on Chinese Convoy Claims Lives

An attack on a convoy transporting Chinese engineers in Balochistan has resulted in numerous fatalities, with several Pakistani security personnel wounded. This assault took place on the Fakir bridge in Gwadar this Sunday, confirmed by Pakistan's security forces. Claimed by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), they assert that 4 Chinese nationals and 9 Pakistani soldiers perished in the attack.

According to reports, the convoy of 7 vehicles carrying Chinese engineers was ambushed on Fakir Bridge, which was followed by continuous explosions and gunfire. Post-attack, Gwadar was put on high alert, barring any vehicles from entering or leaving the city.

'The Balochistan Post' reports that two separatists died in an encounter with security forces, while others managed to escape. To apprehend these individuals, the Pakistan Army is conducting search operations. During the unrest, Chinese consulates in Balochistan and Sindh have ordered their citizens to stay indoors until further notice.

The BLA's Majeed Brigade, a suicide squad, has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Chinese engineer convoy. BLA claims that their assault is ongoing, with further details to be released later. Following the attack on the convoy, a series of explosions continues in Gwadar. The port is now encircled since all the routes have been closed.

'The Balochistan Post' reports that blasts and gunfire can be heard in the port city of Gwadar, where all streets remain closed to traffic. The attack on the Chinese engineers' convoy began around 9:30 AM and continued until around 2 PM. Numerous videos of the attack and subsequent encounters have also surfaced.
