Following SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, now Faizabad MP Awadhesh Prasad has also demanded a DNA test in the Ayodhya rape case. He stated that no innocent person should be wrongly accused and emphasized conducting a DNA test. The Samajwadi Party stands firmly with the victim and her family. Responding to the picture issue raised by the BJP, Awadhesh Prasad said, 'At least 500 people take photos with me daily. How can we reject photos?'

SP MP Awadhesh Prasad says about main accused Moid Khan, 'This incident is extremely painful and shameful. The condemnation of this incident falls short in words. All those involved in this incident should be investigated, the truth should be found, and strict action should be taken against the guilty. Police should also act without any pressure and separate milk from water.'

'To further clarify the matter, a DNA test should be conducted.'

He said, 'As far as the victim is concerned, we and our party stand fully by her. It is regretful that the Bharatiya Janata Party is politicizing the issue. I humbly request such people to see this not as a political opportunity but as a moment of empathy. There has been a harrowing incident, and justice should be delivered to the victim, with stringent actions against the guilty. The innocent should not be wrongfully framed. To further clarify the matter, a DNA test should be conducted.'

'A criminal has no caste.'

Awadhesh Prasad said, 'The Bharatiya Janata Party has no real jobs. The country faces significant issues like inflation and unemployment. Recently in Lucknow, a man was carrying a woman on a motorcycle through flooded streets. They fell and shouted for help while others splashed water on them. There were at least 15-20 people, but our Chief Minister only named two - one a Yadav and one a Muslim. However, there were 15-16 people of various castes involved.'

SP MP said, 'A criminal has no caste. In my 45 years of politics, I have never allowed anyone with any criminal connections near me. I have never taken help of any kind from such people.'

'Photos cannot be denied.'

He said, 'As far as the photo issue is concerned, we are in politics and during elections, millions of people take photos with us. Boys take selfies with us. Since I've been in Delhi, at least 500 people take photos with me daily. Be it someone from Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Moradabad or Bihar. On the 31st, my birthday, many people came and took photos. Some asked for hand on their head, some on their shoulders. Photos cannot be denied. How can we refuse photos? BJP should not play such politics and should do justice with the victim.'

Akhilesh Yadav also demands DNA test

Earlier, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav had said about the Ayodhya rape case that those accused should undergo a DNA test and be brought to justice. The SP chief emphasized that politics should not be played by merely making accusations. He stated that the guilty should be fully punished as per the law. BSP Chief Mayawati asked Akhilesh Yadav, 'How many such tests were conducted under SP rule?'

Bulldozer action begins on main accused's bakery

Bulldozer action has now started on the bakery of the main accused, SP leader Moid Khan. The administration bulldozed Moid Khan's bakery located in Ayodhya. On Friday, the revenue department measured the property of the accused. Moid Khan is also accused of illegal occupation of several government lands, including ponds and graveyards.

The mother of the minor victim met with CM Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Friday (August 2). During the meeting, the Chief Minister assured strict action against SP leader Moid Khan and other accused. Consequently, action has also been taken against the station in-charge and outpost in-charge, and the investigation of the accused's property has begun.

What is the whole matter?

In Ayodhya, an alleged rape incident involving a 12-year-old minor girl has come to light. It is reported that SP leader Moid Khan is involved in this case and has been seen multiple times with the Ayodhya MP. The accused has been arrested. However, accusations are that this was a gang rape case and that Moid Khan also made a video of the act.

Reports claim that Moid Khan first raped the girl and then recorded the incident. Additionally, it is alleged that his associate, Raju Khan, also partook in the crime. Both allegedly repeatedly gang-raped the victim for two and a half months, with the matter coming to light when she became pregnant.
