Lalu Prasad arrived at the ED office in Patna around 11 am, accompanied by his daughter Misa Bharti. However, Misa was not allowed inside. The ED reportedly asked Lalu 70 questions. He left the ED office around 9 pm, continuously asserting his innocence and distancing himself from the accusations.
The investigating officer recorded Lalu's statement under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). After an exhaustive 10-hour inquiry, the agencies grilled Lalu with a series of 70 questions related to corruption and money laundering allegations. Sources claim it took about one and a half to two minutes for Lalu to answer each query.
