The political atmosphere in Delhi is witnessing a significant stir. An investigation has been ordered into the claims made by AAP leaders about receiving phone calls from BJP, offering Rs 150 million. Following the order from Delhi's LG VK Saxena, an ACB team has been dispatched to the homes of AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh, and Mukesh Ahlawat.

The LG has stated that in order to bring the truth of this matter to light, a thorough investigation through the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) should be conducted.

Vishnu Mittal, the General Secretary of Delhi BJP, has requested in a letter to Delhi LG VK Saxena that he direct the Anti-Corruption Bureau and any other investigative agency to file an FIR and conduct an inquiry regarding the allegations made by Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh. They claim that a bribe offer of Rs 150 million was made to the current 7 MLAs of AAP.

'We are going to the ACB office ourselves...'

AAP leader Sanjay Singh stated, "We have complaints to file, while they are putting on a show. I am headed to the ACB office with my lawyer to file a complaint. Let’s see if the ACB will take action. I've disclosed the phone number that made these calls and offers. So, what further evidence is required? We are personally going to the ACB office to lodge our complaint."

Sanjay Singh questioned whether ACB was waiting for BJP's complaint. Why wasn't action taken after our press conference? More than 16 people have already been contacted, and we've released one number. If ACB takes action, we'll provide more information.

'BJP launched Operation Lotus...'

A day after the assembly election polling in Delhi, AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh accused that phone calls were made to seven AAP MLAs offering them Rs 150 million each to leave their party and join BJP. He claimed that BJP has initiated its 'Operation Lotus' in Delhi. He further stated that they will soon share names and evidence.

Sanjay Singh remarked, 'Phone calls have been made to seven AAP legislators, offering them Rs 150 million to quit AAP and join BJP... We have advised MLAs to record such audio calls and report them. If someone meets them, they should capture it on a hidden camera... Before the vote counting, BJP has already acknowledged its defeat and has resorted to breaking parties in Delhi, much like other parts of the country.'

'Leave AAP and join us...'

In addition to Sanjay Singh, AAP leader Mukesh Ahlawat also claimed to have received offers on the phone. Mukesh shared on social media, "I would rather die than leave Arvind Kejriwal’s side. I received a call from this number. They said they are forming the government, offered a ministerial position, and Rs 150 million, asking me to leave 'AAP' and join them."

He further wrote, "To them, I want to say, the respect given to me by Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party is something I would never abandon while I live."
