Qualcomm is set to launch its next flagship processor, rumored to be named the Snapdragon 8 Elite, on October 21. This time, the flagship processor might not follow the expected Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 naming convention.

Xiaomi will be the first brand to debut a phone with this processor. Annually, the company introduces its premium device with Qualcomm's flagship technology. This year, the Xiaomi 15 series will premiere with the newest processor.

The company plans a launch event by the month's end. According to tipsters, we might see the Snapdragon 8 Elite in both the OnePlus 13 and iQOO 13. Remember, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor is set for a late-month release.
