Amul has brought delightful news for consumers with a significant cutback in milk prices nationwide. For a long while, the cost of milk had been steadily rising (Amul Milk Price Reduce), but Amul has now trimmed down the rates, offering some much-needed relief to the public. This change includes reductions in famed variants like Amul Gold (Amul Gold Price), Amul Taza, and their Tea Special milk.

The price slash applies to one-liter packs across the country, with each pack seeing a reduction of 1 Rupee. Notably, this amendment comes after a significant duration of heightened prices by all brands. With Amul's move, competitive pressure is likely to prompt other companies to lower their milk prices too.

Jayen Mehta, Amul's MD, clarified that this price reduction affects only the one-liter pack, excluding the 500 ml packs. The primary goal is to benefit consumers, encouraging increased milk consumption. No other reasons are linked to this adjustment.

Updated Pricing Information

Today, with the revised pricing, the cost for a one-liter pack of Amul Gold decreases from Rs. 66 to Rs. 65. Meanwhile, the Amul Tea Special milk sees a drop from Rs. 62 to Rs. 61, and the Amul Taza milk price reduces from Rs. 54 to Rs. 53 per liter.

Reasons Behind the Price Drop

This marks the first instance of a milk company cutting prices. Although reasons weren't extensively discussed by the company, experts view it as a consumer-centric move addressing market competition. With lower milk prices, there will be some relief from inflated kitchen budgets for the average household.
