During an event held in Ahmedabad on Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah made a bold prediction regarding the upcoming assembly elections. Shah declared that NDA will achieve a significant victory in the West Bengal and Tamil Nadu elections next year, pointing out that nationwide, the public has rejected Congress and its allies.
Shah shared these remarks at the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation program, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation for various projects, including three sports complexes with a combined investment of 1,500 crore INR.
'BJP's Uninterrupted Victory from 2014 to 2025'
According to the PTI news agency, Amit Shah stated that since the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP's winning streak remains unbroken till 2025. He mentioned, “In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Narendra Bhai became Prime Minister for the third time, achieving a milestone after decades. Congress has faded away from Maharashtra, Haryana, Delhi, and now Bihar. In the recent Bihar assembly elections, NDA established the government with a two-thirds majority, and this trend will extend to Bengal and Tamil Nadu.”
A Direct Jab at Rahul Gandhi
Shah also launched a direct attack on opposition leader Rahul Gandhi. He noted that after losing elections, Rahul Gandhi blames the EVM and voter list, despite the public’s clear rejection of Congress. Shah stated from the stage, “In Bihar, NDA formed the government with a two-thirds majority, yet Rahul Baba continues to blame the EVM and voter list. Neither the EVM nor the voter list is faulty; the country's people have not accepted Congress or its allied parties, and this is the outcome.”
He added, “Today, I want to tell Mamata Ben and Stalin Bhai from this platform that after Bihar, it's NDA-BJP’s turn in Bengal and Tamil Nadu.”
Major Announcement on Sports Infrastructure
Amit Shah announced that Ahmedabad will host the 2036 Olympics after the 2030 Commonwealth Games and 2029 World Police and Fire Games. He highlighted that these international events will give the city a new identity on the global sports map. Ahmedabad is poised to become a world-class sports training center, with the foundation laid today for the construction of three sports complexes guiding this vision.
'Ram Temple Completed, Now Building Sita Temple'
The Union Home Minister mentioned that the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has been completed, with the saffron flag hoisted over it in 2025. Additionally, he revealed that a temple for Sita Ma will also be completed by 2026 in Sitamarhi, Bihar.
Amit Shah emphasized that under Modi's leadership, India has gained global recognition, with the public committed to advancing the country in every field. He accused the opposition of lacking both leadership and policy, leading to a lack of public trust.
