Suspended PCS officer Alankar Agnihotri, who has been consistently discussed in Uttar Pradesh's political and administrative circles, is once again making headlines. This time, his tone has changed regarding Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Previously, it was perceived that Alankar was upset with Yogi's government, but he has now clarified his stance. Alankar Agnihotri stated clearly that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is his and will always remain so. According to him, he secured his job during Yogi's reign and the Chief Minister has been pivotal in his career.
In a conversation with the media, Alankar Agnihotri expressed that no outside person can come to the state and disrespect Chief Minister Yogi at any cost. He also mentioned having some personal and administrative issues, which he raised on the appropriate platforms. However, viewing these issues as a rift with Chief Minister Yogi is incorrect. He clarified that his grievances were related to the system rather than any individual.
Securing My Job in Yogi's Era
In his statement, Alankar expressed his gratitude towards Yogi Adityanath, recognizing that his entire administrative journey began during Yogi's regime. He said, 'The job I received was during the esteemed governance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.' Alankar Agnihotri shared essential information regarding the resolution of his issues. He revealed that Shankaracharya Shri Mukteshwaranand Ji Maharaj recently visited Banaras, and the dialogue process has already begun involving this entire matter. According to Alankar, he has been informed through officials that Yogi Adityanath has engaged senior authorities to converse with the Shankaracharya. He claims that from these efforts, a positive resolution is anticipated soon. He said that there were some issues they raised, and now there is dialogue around them. He is hopeful that a solution will emerge.
No Plans to Return to the System
While Alankar portrayed a softer, more respectful tone towards Chief Minister Yogi, he was candid and straightforward regarding his suspension and future. Alankar declared that he has no intention of returning to the system. He stated, 'I have mentally prepared myself to fight the battle from outside the system. There are numerous issues to work on which might not be possible within the system.' Alankar believes that often within the system, individuals might not fully express their views. He mentioned that now, being outside the system, he can voice his opinions without constraints. 'I am bolder outside the system and can speak openly on issues which were earlier difficult,' he added.
Clarification on Family Resignations
Alankar Agnihotri also responded to the media reports of his family members' resignations. He clarified that these reports are not true. Alankar explained that his mother did not resign but opted for a voluntary retirement, known as VRS. He dismissed reports of any other family members resigning as baseless. He urged the media to fact-check such sensitive news before publishing.
He reiterated that Yogi Adityanath is the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, and decisions made in the interest of the state should be respected. Furthermore, he stated that no external forces should have the right to interfere in the state's politics or administration. He emphasized that his focus is not on politics but the issues. 'I am not fighting for any position or power. I am highlighting social and constitutional concerns. My purpose is merely to bring issues to light, not to enter politics or strive for any role,' he articulated.
