In this newly emerged video, the sequence of the plane crash is distinctly visible. The footage shows the critical moments when the aircraft, trying to land, suddenly crashes.
Accompanying Ajit Pawar on the ill-fated flight were a security officer, two pilots, and a female crew member. Ajit Pawar was en route from Mumbai to Baramati to address rallies in connection with the district council elections scheduled for February 5. Unfortunately, tragedy struck during the landing attempt.
On that fateful Wednesday, Ajit Pawar's plane went down in an area adjacent to the landing strip. Eyewitnesses recount the aircraft wobbling during its landing attempt before swiftly succumbing to the crash. The crash was followed by approximately five blasts, turning the plane into a blazing inferno, leading to total destruction and the loss of all on board.
Maharashtra's Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, promptly declared a holiday for all schools, colleges, and institutions across the state. Additionally, three days of state mourning have been declared in honor of the deceased.
In the wake of this tragedy, Ajit Pawar's 2024 social media post has gone viral. In this post, Ajit humorously remarked that when they travel by helicopter or plane and it lands smoothly, they deduce the pilot is a woman.
