A 22-year-old girl embraced the thrill of a TikTok challenge, venturing into an abandoned church. What unfolded was a tale to send shivers down one's spine. The corpse of Auriane Nathalie Laisne was discovered within the desolate church, her clothing soaked in blood. This was a church steeped in history and now deserted, her body bearing the marks of bullet wounds and a knife's kiss. The police suspect that Auriane partook in the ghost-hunting frenzy ignited by TikTok.
The police found her remains in a grisly state, suggesting that her boyfriend, Teima Sohaib, lured her under the guise of a challenge only to end her life. Reports by the New York Post, quoting Italy's Il Gazzettino newspaper, indicate that prior to her demise, Auriane had filed a domestic abuse case against her 21-year-old boyfriend in France. An Italian hailing from Egypt and residing in France was instructed by the court to maintain his distance from Auriane. The police are investigating her death with the TikTok challenge in view.
If it is found to be murder, the Aosta public prosecutor, Luca Ceccanti, is ready with an indictment. 'This is a murder, the victim was taken against her will,' he explained. A witness reported spotting Auriane in vampire attire beside her boyfriend, attire meant to intimidate and instill fear. The witness remarked on Auriane's gaunt appearance, equating her to a living corpse. The law enforcement is tirelessly piecing together whether this was a ritualistic killing or a premeditated murder.
According to medical examiner Roberto Testi and the police, Auriane likely succumbed to the knife-inflicted wounds with blood loss being the fatal blow. Interestingly, it was after her death that shots were fired at her neck twice and stomach once. The police noted that efforts were made to scour her blood from the scene. Soon after the body was discovered, her boyfriend was arrested. The couple had embarked on a sojourn across Europe, seeking camping spots amongst uninhabited villages. The church where Auriane was found does not serve as a tourist attraction and remains virtually unknown even to the locals.
