Addressing the media during a press conference in Chandigarh, Aman Arora congratulated the people of Punjab for the peaceful and fair elections conducted on the 14th, marking one of the most serene local body elections in recent memory.

Arora noted that the emerging results indicate a resounding mandate in favor of the Aam Aadmi Party. He extended congratulations to all Punjabis for reinforcing democracy and expressing trust in good governance.

He also extended felicitations to AAP’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab’s Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, party leaders, legislators, candidates, and notably the dedicated volunteers. This victory, he said, is the fruit of AAP's leadership and the relentless efforts of volunteers at the grassroots over the past few years.

In the district council elections, results for 71 zones were announced during the conference. AAP secured victory in 60 zones, representing an overwhelming majority, whereas Congress won 7 zones, Shiromani Akali Dal won 1 zone, independents claimed 2, and BJP secured 1 zone.

Arora stated that approximately 85% of the announced district council results favored AAP, reflecting public confidence in the party's policies and leadership.

In the block committee elections, results were declared for 1,275 out of 2,863 blocks till this press conference. AAP triumphed in 867 blocks, accounting for about 68% of the results announced. Congress won 216 blocks, Shiromani Akali Dal 129, independents 63, and BJP claimed victory in 20 blocks.

Declaring it an outright win for AAP, Aman Arora remarked that despite the slow counting process due to ballot papers, the trend clearly indicates Punjab's inclination towards AAP and the state government's policies.

He emphasized that the party approached the public court with AAP's four-year governance record, and the people of Punjab have stamped their approval on the government’s administration.
