During the debate on the President's speech in the Rajya Sabha on Monday, AAP MP Sanjay Singh launched a vigorous attack on the central government. Sanjay Singh highlighted critical issues such as Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand's departure from the Magh Mela without taking a holy dip, the controversy over idol destruction at Manikarnika Ghat, and the Supreme Court's halt on new UGC regulations.
He remarked about his journey from Mirzapur to Varanasi, noting that significant damage was done to the statue of Ahilyabai Holkar at Manikarnika Ghat. Sanjay Singh stated that after tweeting the video, an FIR was filed against him. He mentioned that BJP leaders, including Sumitra Mahajan and MLA Ravindra Jaiswal, acknowledged the destruction of statues and temples. Yet, the authorities focused on him while ignoring the actual culprits.
Challenging the ruling party, the AAP MP suggested, "Why not send a delegation of three members, all from BJP, to Manikarnika? Let them verify whether Ahilyabai's statue remains untouched. Then, take action against me." He criticized the aim to prioritize business over religion and questioned the feasibility of a developed India in 2047.
Sanjay Singh expressed concerns about budget cuts in education, health, and rural development, pondering the future of a developed India with uneducated, unhealthy villages. He cited a CAG report indicating fraud in the Ayushman scheme, criticizing the lack of proper training and employment opportunities. Referring to Magh Mela, he noted the tragic events where Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand was mistreated.
When explaining Shankaracharya's demands, he said, "The demand for the government to acknowledge its mistakes was unmet, leading him to leave without the ritual bath. Despite being religious figures, they were treated dismissively."

Sanjay Singh criticized demands for evidence from Shankaracharya, paralleling it with figures failing to show degrees over 12 years. He spotlighted instances of mistreatment of Indians abroad and diplomatic pressures involving the U.S. and China, highlighting BJP's office activities during such tension.

Talking about the Epstein files, Singh accused the government of non-disclosure and questionable judiciary transfers. He highlighted discrepancies in UP’s voter lists, alleging manipulation. The targeting of prominent families under FIRs was termed as political deception.
