A terrifying new CCTV clip has emerged from a massive car explosion near Delhi's Red Fort, depicting the blast's terrifying magnitude. Though it occurred on the road, the shockwaves were felt 40 feet underground. Footage from underground Red Fort Metro Station confirms this.
The footage clearly shows that immediately after the explosion, the entire underground station's flooring, shop shutters, and food corner shelves shook violently. Panicked individuals can be seen running in all directions.
Investigators noted that the explosion happened directly above a section of the Delhi Metro line. Had there been damage to the road, it could have severely impacted the metro structure below.
13 Casualties
Understandably, 13 people lost their lives in the explosion involving a white Hyundai i20 near the Red Fort on Monday. As the investigation team sought another vehicle, on Wednesday, they located a red Ford Ecosport in Khandauli village, Faridabad, connected to the same 'white-collar' terror module. Police have detained the individual who parked this car in the village.

The investigation revealed that the perpetrators prepared three cars for a vehicle-borne IED—the white i20 (site of the explosion), the Ford Ecosport (found in Faridabad), and a third vehicle still being sought.
High Alert at Borders and Police Stations
On Monday, the police dismantled a white-collar terror module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. They seized 2,900 kg of explosive materials, chemicals, literature, and electronic circuits. A total of eight suspects, including three doctors tied to Haryana's Al-Falah University, were apprehended.
