REET 2024 Exam:
This is the last chance for candidates preparing for teacher recruitment in Rajasthan to apply for REET 2024. The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will close the application window for Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) today. Candidates who have not yet applied can visit the official website http://rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in to apply online.
Over 1.2 Million Applications Submitted
According to media reports, over 12.29 lakh applications have been received so far. The application link will remain open until midnight today (January 15, 2025). Among the received applications, 304,180 are for Level One, 826,627 for Level Two, and 98,031 for both levels.
REET Exam Scheduled for February 27
The Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) 2024 is set to take place on February 27, 2025, in two sessions. The primary level (Level 1) and upper primary level (Level 2) exams will be held at different times to ensure smooth conduct. The first session exam will run from 10 AM to 12:30 PM, and the second session from 3 PM to 5:30 PM.
Changes in Exam Pattern
This year, significant changes have been made to the REET exam pattern. A fifth option has been included in the exam paper to enhance transparency and accuracy. The REET 2024 exam will be conducted in two separate levels on the same day across two sessions.
The exam will be conducted at each district headquarters. The board has ensured strict security measures for the successful conduct of the exam. CCTV cameras will be installed at exam centers, and special teams will be deployed for monitoring.
Candidates are advised to complete the application process in a timely manner. The examination fee is set at 550 rupees for Level One and Two. For candidates applying for both levels, the fee is 750 rupees.
