Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a phone conversation with Home Minister Amit Shah. The Prime Minister directed Shah to take appropriate measures and visit the attack site. Meanwhile, Shah convened an emergency meeting attended by the Home Secretary and other officials of the Home Ministry, with the DGP of Jammu and Kashmir joining virtually. The attack has led to one fatality and injured 12 individuals, four of whom are in critical condition.
