The industrious Tamil Nadu's Industry Minister TRB Raja has launched a spirited attack on opposition parties, asserting rapid economic growth under their administration. He highlighted that Tamil Nadu has achieved double-digit economic growth for the first time in 14 years. Minister Raja stressed that Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) ought not to display jealousy or a narrow mindset regarding this achievement. According to the central government's statistics, Tamil Nadu, under Chief Minister MK Stalin's leadership, has recorded a growth rate of 11.9% for 2024-25.

Minister TRB Raja remarked, "All around, Tamil Nadu is developing. EPS seems only qualified to economically weaken the state. It's as if EPS is envious of this economic growth. His perspective on economic development seems quite poor. It's quite disheartening that the leader of the opposition does not appreciate economic growth. As the opposition leader, he should show more responsibility. Criticizing others tarnishes Tamil Nadu's image."

When questioned about whether U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs have impacted the state's industries, Minister Raja explained that many industries across India find themselves in uncertain conditions. President Trump's statements change daily, and in such a scenario, PM Narendra Modi should gather feedback from all states. Chief Minister Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi, and I have already held discussions with industry representatives twice.
