Friend: But what really happened?
Accused: Oh, he (the victim) said, who am I and what can I do, etc.
Friend: You shouldn't have stabbed him, just fight back, no need to kill.
Accused: What’s done is done.
Friend: Take care, stay hidden for a few days and delete this chat.
Accused: Okay.
It’s important to note that this incident took place at a private school in Khokhra, Ahmedabad. Here, a ninth-grade student attacked Nayan with a knife on Tuesday, leading to his hospitalization in critical condition.
Nayan's passing has fueled outrage among parents. The victim belonged to the Sindhi community, while the accused is said to be Muslim, which has stirred communal tensions. Violent protests erupted on Wednesday as a furious crowd vandalized the school property, even pelting stones at buses.
Members of the Sindhi community, alongside parents, gathered en masse at the school, expressing their anger over the student's death. Protesters, including workers from Hindu organizations and ABVP, resorted to vandalism, leaving the campus in disarray.
Anticipating further unrest, law enforcement has deployed substantial police forces at the school. Authorities have detained the accused ninth-grade student as part of a juvenile justice action. Besides holding the student accountable, parents demand actions against the school's principal and management.
The accused is reported to belong to the Muslim community. One protester claims that the dispute between the students began over non-vegetarian food. Following the student's death, the Sindhi community, parents, Hindu groups, and ABVP have protested at the school premises. Despite the presence of senior police officials, including JCP and DCP, public anger remains high.
