Mathura-Vrindavan News:
The Thakur Shri Banke Bihari Temple administration and the high-power management committee have issued crucial guidelines for devotees celebrating New Year 2026. Authorities foresee a large crowd in Vrindavan from December 29, 2025, to January 5, 2026. To ensure safety, visitors are requested to defer travel during this period or assess the crowd situation before visiting. Separate entry and exit routes have been designated at the temple to manage the increasing crowd and prevent potential chaos.
Important Points to Note
The administration urges devotees not to bring bags or valuables. To avoid the crowd, shoes and slippers should be removed only at designated places, which are arranged on main roads.

There is also a warning to be vigilant against pickpockets and mobile thieves. Ensuring that family members carry a slip with contact details and phone numbers can aid in cases of separation.
Advice for the Ill and Elderly
Due to the expected crowd pressure, elderly individuals, children, differently abled people, and those with heart or respiratory conditions are advised against visiting the temple. Devotees should avoid coming on an empty stomach and must carry essential medications. In case of any emergency or loss of belongings, assistance can be sought from 'Khoya-Paya Kendra' located at Gate Number 2 and the nearby police station.
