According to this survey, 27% of people in Haryana are satisfied with the government's work, while 44% are dissatisfied, and 25% are somewhat happy with the government's performance.

What is Haryana's Biggest Issue?

When asked about the biggest issue in Haryana, 45% of the people said unemployment is the biggest concern, while only 3% mentioned corruption. Inflation was a concern for 14%, whereas 13% cited development, 3% law and order, and 2% associated their concerns with farmer issues respectively.

In light of the upcoming elections on October 1, the survey queried citizens about the Chief Minister's performance. Merely 22% felt satisfied with CM Saini's performance, 40% were dissatisfied, while 19% were somewhat satisfied with his work.

Regarding the role of the opposition in Haryana, 31% of respondents were satisfied, while 34% were not. However, 22% expressed moderate satisfaction.

Opinions on MPs' Performance?

According to the 'Mood of the Nation' survey, 29% of people in Haryana are satisfied with the performance of their MPs, while 21% are somewhat satisfied, but 38% remain dissatisfied.

Regarding the performance of MLAs, 33% of the public are satisfied, 20% are somewhat satisfied, and 40% remain unhappy with their performance.

Who Leads in the Assembly by 2024 Lok Sabha Elections?

The survey tried to gauge who is leading the race for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The BJP is at the forefront with 44 seats, and could secure 46.1% of the votes, while Congress might get 42 seats with 43.7% of the votes. Other parties might get 4 seats. JJP and INLD might not secure any seats, with JJP getting 0.9% and INLD 1.7% of the vote share.

What is Haryana's Political Equation?

Currently, the BJP is in power in Haryana. In the 2019 assembly elections, the party emerged as the largest, securing 40 seats with a 36.7% vote share. Congress won 31 seats with a 28.2% vote share, while the newly-formed JJP, led by Dushyant Chautala, secured 10 seats with a 14.9% vote share.

Also, Haryana Lokhit Party won a seat with less than 1% of the vote share. Independents managed to secure 7 seats. No party reached the majority mark of 46 seats. Post-election, the BJP formed the government with support from JJP, Haryana Lokhit Party, and independent candidates. However, before the Lok Sabha elections, BJP ended its alliance with JJP and appointed Naib Singh Saini as the Chief Minister, replacing Manohar Lal Khattar.
