The woman became pregnant and is now five months along, yet the groom's heartless schemes continued unabated.

For 7 to 8 years, a romantic saga unfolded between the accused and the woman, marked by intimate moments backed by promises of a lifelong union. However, as time revealed the woman's pregnancy, the man remained undeterred and began arranging a wedding with another woman. Distressed and betrayed, the expectant girlfriend bravely reported the facts to the authorities.

The authorities acted swiftly, not hesitating to break convention by lifting the groom directly from his village mandap and into justice's embrace. He was booked and presented in court under sections 64(2)(M) and 69 BNS, resulting in a judicial order mandating his confinement. As of May 27, the wheels of justice continue to turn, holding him to account through legal procedures.
