Delhi: Bodybuilder Shot by Assailants While Warming by Fire in Park

An alarming incident took place in East Delhi's Kalyanpuri police district, in Trilokpuri Sector 13, where a young man was shot. According to reports, a group of friends gathered around a fire in the park when suddenly an attacker appeared and shot one of them. The tragic event occurred around 12:30 AM on Wednesday. The severely injured young man was rushed to Max Hospital where he is currently receiving medical treatment. It is reported that he was shot five times.

The injured has been identified as Ravi, a resident of Trilokpuri. Passionate about bodybuilding, Ravi has won several awards. The police have registered a case of attempted murder and have launched an investigation. CCTV footage from the vicinity is being examined to identify the assailants.

The Delhi Police have detained two suspects in the case, and they are currently being interrogated. Reports suggest a decade-long family feud involving Ravi's family and another household.

In addition, Delhi's former Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal expressed concerns in a social media post, stating, "Another morning dawns with heart-wrenching news. In broad daylight, bullets are being fired. Criminals in Delhi no longer fear the law."

Previously, on December 10, in New Ashok Nagar, Delhi, suspicion over illicit relations drove a man to fatally stab his neighbor. The accused believed the victim had an illicit relationship with his wife. This occurred on a Monday night. The deceased was identified as 33-year-old Ram from Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
