It's election season in Bihar. On Friday, Congress State President Rajesh Kumar took a critical stance against the current government and discussed strategies for the party's upcoming initiatives. He announced that Congress would distribute sanitary pads to 500,000 women in the state. The sanitary pad packaging features an image of Rahul Gandhi.
The packet is labeled as the 'My-Sister Honor Scheme' by the All India Mahila Congress, offering a dignity allowance of 2500 Rupees per month to women in need.
Rajesh Kumar further explained that special preparations are underway for women in Bihar's context. Each woman in the state will receive a sanitary pad, and a campaign will be launched to ensure this distribution.
He stated, "Our goal is to distribute sanitary pads to 500,000 women. The Women's Congress will raise awareness on health among women."

However, BJP objected to Rahul Gandhi's image on the sanitary pads. BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari remarked that the image is an insult to Bihar's women, labeling Congress as an anti-women party. He suggested that Bihar's women will teach Congress and RJD a lesson.
