The shocking crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane in Kazakhstan on Wednesday resulted in the tragic loss of 38 lives, while 29 passengers survived. Numerous videos capturing this harrowing incident are circulating on social media, including one recorded by a survivor.

One passenger on board documented the aftermath, showing the cabin's chaotic state through their phone. In the video, you can see people crawling desperately inside. The visuals reveal completely destroyed seats and belongings strewn across the cabin.

Another video shows efforts to extinguish the fire engulfing the plane. After the blaze was under control, some passengers, appearing utterly bewildered, made their way out. The rescue team can be seen evacuating other trapped passengers.

Azerbaijan Airlines Flight Embraer E190AR took off from Baku Airport at 6:28 AM local time. The flight was scheduled to land at Grozny Airport in Russia's Chechnya about an hour later. Shortly after takeoff, however, the aircraft collided with a bird.

Viral videos on social media showcased the plane moving erratically mid-air, reminiscent of fish swimming in water. Flight tracking sites released maps that graphically depicted the aircraft's loss of control in the sky.

The plane carried 67 passengers. Sadly, 42 individuals perished, while 25 survived. Among the deceased were 37 Azerbaijani citizens, 16 Russian citizens, 6 Kazakh citizens, and 3 Kyrgyz citizens. The crew of five, including both pilots, also died in the crash.
