Global Assistance
Many nations are extending aid to flood victims across Asia. Japan is providing humanitarian assistance to Thailand. Responding to a request from the Thai government on November 29, the Japanese government announced that it will deliver emergency relief supplies, including tents, sleeping pads, blankets, plastic sheets, tanks, and water purifiers, via the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Countries like the UK, the USA, South Korea, and New Zealand have sent humanitarian aid to Vietnam. Similarly, India has launched 'Operation Sagar Bandhu' to assist Sri Lanka.
