A new cyber fraud technique has emerged. The Indian government’s Ministry of Home Affairs initiative, Cyber Friend, has issued a crucial alert to shield against cyber fraud, prominently featuring Jio's name.
On the X platform, Cyber Friend highlights the need to be wary of messages using the Jio name. These are, in fact, APK files that, when installed, can hack users' mobile phones. In such cases, even bank accounts could be depleted.
Cyber Friend's post advises against downloading files like Jio Internet Speed #5G Network Connection.apk. These perilous files can hack your phone and steal your data. To stay secure, only download apps from official app stores.
