Controversial YouTuber and Big Boss OTT Season 2 winner Elvish Yadav is embroiled in a scandal once again. A recent video of him assaulting fellow YouTuber Sagar Thakur (Maxtern) has gone viral on social media. An FIR has been registered against Elvish. Now, Sagar has shared a video on social media pleading with Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar for help, while sharing his harrowing story.
Sagar Thakur narrates his ordeal
In the shared video on platform X, Sagar speaks of the entire incident with Elvish, what transpired after the assault, and upon reaching the police station to file an FIR. He realized power and money could influence the proceedings, including changing the FIR content. Moreover, the location Elvish provided was his residence, which should have ideally been a public venue. The confrontation was supposed to be verbal, not physical.
'I was fully prepared. I had set up a sofa, thinking Elvish would sit beside me. But as soon as he arrived, he started attacking with a group of people who also assisted him. Elvish struck me with his knee on my nose and hit my mouth multiple times. He even hit my spine with his phone. A spinal injury could leave one paralyzed for life. He repeatedly threatened to kill me.'
Seeking help from CM Manohar Lal Khattar
Sagar continues, 'Elvish and his men tried to force an apology from me, but I refused. Gradually, my spine pain intensified, and it became so severe that I couldn't sleep. At the hospital, they refused treatment without an FIR, so I visited the police station stating it was an attempted murder. The SHO listened but then discreetly told the inspector not to publicize this.
'I sensed then that efforts would be made to suppress the case. Indeed, none of the charges I listed in the FIR were applied to Elvish. Such lawlessness prevails in Haryana, where someone can assault and face no consequences. This implies that with money, anyone can get away with anything. That guy must be laughing, knowing no one will hold him accountable. I implore the Haryana CM to arrest the thug Elvish. If justice is not served in my case, it would mean the law only protects the poor, not the rich. Lastly, if anything happens to me, Elvish Yadav must be held responsible.'
Who is Maxtern?
Maxtern is also a YouTuber who creates gaming-related content. He has been a content creator since 2017 and is connected with 1.6 million users on YouTube. According to Sagar Thakur, he has known Elvish Yadav since 2021. Over the past few months, Elvish has spread considerable hate and propaganda, which Sagar finds unacceptable.
The Backstory
The conflict arose when the victim Sagar Thakur tweeted a photo of Elvish Yadav with Munawar Faruqui. It escalated when Elvish responded via social media, leading to heated exchanges and an eventual in-person meeting where the alleged assault occurred.
