Yogi Adityanath took the oath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on March 19, 2017. Following the 2022 assembly elections, where the BJP secured a majority, he was re-elected, making him the first CM to handle the office again after completing a full term. Yogi Adityanath is the 22nd Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from being a senior leader in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he is also the head priest of the Gorakhnath Math in Gorakhpur.
