The tranquil village of Vadner Dumala in Nashik district was struck by a heartbreaking incident on Raksha Bandhan, leaving the entire community engulfed in grief. As sisters joyfully tied Rakhi on their brothers' wrists, a 9-year-old sister was performing this sacred ritual on her 3-year-old brother who had tragically passed away. Those who witnessed this poignant moment couldn't hold back their tears.

This tragic event unfolded on the night before Raksha Bandhan, on Friday. Ayush Bhagat, the young child from the Bhagat family, was innocently playing in front of his house when a leopard suddenly leaped and carried him away. Despite the family's and villagers' immediate search efforts, Ayush's body was discovered near their home shortly after, leaving the family in anguish.

The morning of Raksha Bandhan followed, somber for Ayush's sister who, until the day before, had been eagerly preparing to tie Rakhi to her brother. Instead, the family was plunged into sorrow over the little boy's death. Preparations for the funeral began as the time to tie Rakhi also approached.
