Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Assembly and RJD legislator, Tejashwi Yadav, has raised serious allegations concerning the state's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) draft voter list. On Sunday, he claimed during a press conference that Bihar's Deputy CM, Vijay Kumar Sinha, has names registered at two different places in the draft voter list and possesses two different EPIC cards. However, Sinha clarified, stating he has applied to the BLO to remove his name from Patna as of August 5.
Tejashwi presented the media with details of both voter ID cards belonging to Vijay Kumar Sinha and showcased the details checked online. Tejashwi asserted that Vijay Kumar Sinha's name appears in the draft voter list for both Patna and Lakhisarai, with divergent EPIC numbers and ages listed on each voter ID.
According to Tejashwi, Vijay Kumar Sinha's name is recorded at serial number 757 on booth number 405 in Patna district, with EPIC number AFS0853341. Additionally, his name is also included at serial number 274 on booth number 231 in Lakhisarai district, for which EPIC number IAF3939337 has been issued.

'I Have Sent My Reply'
Tejashwi stated that SIR is a massive fraud. This is the situation with Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha. When my issue arose, a media trial ensued. I have sent my response to the Election Commission. Despite that, I was sent another notice. Will the Election Commission issue a notice to Vijay Kumar Sinha? He should receive notices from two places—the Patna district and the Lakhisarai district.

Indeed, questions are being raised about the authenticity of the voter list in the state. Amid this, the claim of the Deputy CM's name appearing in two distinct places has sparked intense discussion on the transparency of the SIR process. Notably, Tejashwi Yadav himself has been embroiled in controversies related to having two EPIC cards. This new allegation has intensified the political heat in Bihar.
