Similar conditions are expected in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, with possibilities of thunderstorms, rain, and dusty winds. An alert is also issued for severe heatwaves in the region. Yesterday, Kanpur topped the list of highest temperatures across the country, with a record 48.2°C.
