February brings another wave of weather changes to various parts of the country. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts a chance of thunderstorms, rain, and lightning in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Western Uttar Pradesh, and Northern Rajasthan on February 17. The hilly regions are likely to witness rain and snowfall as well in the coming days.

Rainfall and snowfall are expected to continue in Jammu and Kashmir until February 17, as per the IMD. An alert for rain has been issued for Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from February 16 to 18, potentially increasing the chill in the mountains. The weather department has also issued a dense fog alert for Meghalaya and Himachal Pradesh.

Delhi-NCR is also likely to experience a weather transformation. According to the forecasting agency Skymet Weather, light rain showers might occur in some areas on February 18, 2026.

The weather in Delhi-NCR mid-February is anticipated to be quite interesting. On February 13, 2026, expect partly cloudy skies with morning mist. The India Meteorological Department forecasts the maximum temperature to be between 26°C and 28°C, while the minimum could range from 10°C to 12°C. The maximum temperature is likely to be 1.6°C to 3.0°C above normal.

On February 14, 2026, skies over Delhi are expected to be mostly clear, although morning fog will persist. The temperatures on this day are predicted to be between 27°C and 29°C during the day and between 11°C and 13°C at night, with minimum temperatures being 1.6°C to 3.0°C above normal and maximum temperatures potentially soaring 3.1°C to 5.0°C above usual levels.
