Meanwhile, the electoral atmosphere in Mokama is heating up with voting set for November 6th in the first phase. Supporters of Surajbhan Singh have accused opposition parties of vandalizing the vehicle of RJD candidate Veena Devi. However, official confirmation of the incident is still pending.

On Thursday, during election campaigning, a clash between two groups claimed the life of Dularchand Yadav. He was campaigning for the Jan Suraj Party candidate Piyush Priyadarshi, running against Anant Singh. Anant Singh, on the other hand, alleges that Surajbhan Singh is behind this conspiracy.
