The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, has criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the violence in Murshidabad. He expressed surprise that fires are occurring precisely in the locales of those opposing changes to the Waqf Act.

In Murshidabad district, protests against the Waqf (Amendment) Act on Tuesday sparked violence. Responding to this, CM Yadav remarked, "The truth has surfaced. Why are the areas resisting the Waqf Act amendments going up in flames?"

CM Yadav stated that the central government amended the Waqf Act to support the rights of impoverished Muslims, but Congress orchestrated a conspiracy against this amendment to protect 'vote bank politics,' and its plot has been exposed.

The Chief Minister declared, "I hope Congress leaders, Mamata Banerjee, and their allies will apologize. I expect them to understand the spirit of the Waqf Act amendments and ensure justice for the poor and weak sections of the Muslim community."

Congress, in its extended working committee meeting in Ahmedabad, passed a resolution indicating the party's readiness to combat communalism, religious polarization, and divisive politics, drawing inspiration from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

When questioned about this resolution, CM Yadav claimed, "After India's independence, Patel restored the Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple in Gujarat and invited then-Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru for its inauguration, but Nehru refused Patel's request."

Taking a jab at Rahul Gandhi, leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha, Yadav lamented, "It is unfortunate that Nehru's descendants avoid visiting the temple built on Lord Rama's birthplace in Ayodhya. (Rahul) Gandhi might say anything for media coverage, but the public is watching keenly."

Chief Minister Yadav commented, "When you persistently wrong the majority and try dividing the society for a certain group's votes, the people won't forgive you."

At a question about Tejashwi Yadav's candidacy for Chief Ministership of Bihar before the assembly elections, Yadav dodged the response, concluding with 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.
