Trees felled by the storm
Witnessing the wrath of the storm, several trees have fallen in various areas. A video shared by news agency ANI from Delhi Gate captures a fallen tree branch crashing onto a bike, with bystanders rushing to remove it.
ANI also shared a video from Mandi House, where a massive tree has toppled, mildly disrupting traffic flow.
A video from Lodhi Road, Delhi, shows trees swaying violently due to the high winds. Pedestrians found it challenging to walk due to the dust-laden roads.
The havoc unleashed by the storm in Delhi
Friday evening marked a notable storm in Delhi. The highest wind speed was recorded in Ujwa at 84 km/h. At the IGI Airport, winds gusted up to 74 km/h, while Pragati Maidan experienced speeds of up to 70 km/h.
