US Vice President James David (JD) Vance, along with his wife Usha and three children, embarked on a four-day visit to India. Arriving last night in Jaipur, they took residence at the majestic Rambagh Palace. This morning, Vance and his family set out to explore the historic Amer Fort. To ensure their safety, 2,400 personnel were deployed. In honor of his visit, the entire city of Jaipur has been beautifully decorated.
From the elephant stand, they were chauffeured in a special electric cart inside the Amer Fort. Together, the family admired the fort's exterior, the picturesque artificial lake Maotha Sarovar below the fort, and the charming Kesar Kyari garden. Subsequently, Vice President Vance and his family arrived at Jaleb Chowk by e-cart, where they were warmly welcomed by two elegant elephants, Pushpa and Chanda.

These graceful elephants were dressed in traditional jewelry and costumes, adding to their charm. The vibrant Rajasthani folk artists performed for the visitors. JD Vance, along with his family, spent an enriching hour absorbing the historical significance of the Amer Fort, guided by a knowledgeable tour guide. They also captured beautiful moments with photographs inside the fort. Breakfast was elegantly arranged at the 1135 AD Restaurant within the fort, where Vance and his family savored traditional Rajasthani delicacies served atop a silver throne. They further explored the Panna-Meena Ka Kund stepwell and the unique Anokhi Museum.
On their journey back to Rambagh Palace, they took in views of the Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, and the city walls. The afternoon was reserved for lunch at the opulent Rambagh Palace. After a short rest, JD Vance is scheduled to attend the US Business Summit at the Rajasthan International Center, where he will deliver an address on India-US relations. Later, he will return to the Rambagh Palace to meet with the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajanlal Sharma, and other esteemed ministers.

The day will conclude with a delightful dinner at the Rambagh Palace, where Vance and his family will spend the night. Wednesday morning, the Vice President and his family will depart Jaipur on a special flight to Agra, to witness the splendor of the Taj Mahal. They will return to Jaipur by afternoon and plan to visit the City Palace later in the evening, indulging in quality time together. The night will be spent at the Rambagh Palace before they return to the US on Thursday morning.
